Tradition and history are seeped into every acre of our 100-year-old elegant equestrian estate, while love and thoughtful consideration of our guests’ expectations and experience shape each and every detail. The Barn at Honeysuckle Hill in beautiful Asheville, NC can host an array of ceremonies and celebrations across our property. Our tranquil lily pad pond and charming gazebo make an ideal intimate outdoor ceremony site for the couple that desires to exchange vows in witness of the majesty of Mother Nature. At the heart of our property is our renovated barn and hay loft-turned-chapel, greeting friends and family with its grand entrance, antique 90-year-old wooden church pews, and large handcrafted industrial chandeliers to illuminate the room and its revelers. Natural knotted wood, textured poplar bark, and stonework details connect our happy couples and honored guests with the native beauty of our treasured mountain escape. We can not wait to celebrate with you!
Our Masculine Den is perfect to hang with your fellas while shooting pool or playing ping-pong awaiting your ceremony. The rustic chic décor is cozy with a custom tail-gate bar, flat screen TV, vintage fridge, garment hooks, an iron, a coffee bar, free Wi-Fi and a full length mirror.
Our Bridal Loft is beautifully decorated with modern furnishings with lots of natural light. Get Glammed at our hair + makeup stations while your Gals hang and enjoy mimosas and have a dance party because, YOU ARE GETTING MARRIED! Our loft is temperature controlled with a girly inspired mini-kitchen complete with plenty of counter space, a coffee station and a sink and vintage fridge. The modern cabinets are fully stocked with glassware, we have free Wi-Fi, a Bluetooth speaker, hooks for your dresses and a flatscreen TV. The Hightowers
As local business owners and active community volunteers, we feel passionately about our mountain haven and have always wanted others to share in its enchanting charm. When we discovered this nine-acre working farm we knew in our hearts we had found the right place to bring our dream of opening our own wedding and event venue to life.
The Barn at Honeysuckle Hill is a place where all the things we love about Asheville can be experienced by our couples. It has natural beauty, southern grace, and a unique flair yet minutes from downtown Asheville. We began the transformation and restoration of this equestrian farm into the premier venue it is today yet careful to preserve its historic legacy while weaving in beautiful aesthetics and modern conveniences into the estate. We are so humbled and excited to share our “home” with you!
Candace Hightower & Mingle Events
Hey Y’all! It is so nice to meet you! My name is Candace and I am a true southern girl at heart. Over ten years ago I felt a calling to be a wedding planner out of a strong desire to infuse life’s biggest moments with southern grace and hospitality. Thanks to my family’s loving support (not to mention my type-A personality), I turned my knack for meticulous organization, event design, and planning into a career that’s both my profession and my passion. Since launching Mingle Events and Vintage Rentals, I have had the privilege of helping over 200 couples bring their wedding dreams to life, not only at Honeysuckle Hill but across WNC. Whether assisting my couples throughout their entire wedding planning process or surprising a Groom with a 1955 vintage Bel Air to a from his newlywed wife, my mission is to always deliver the perfect day that brides and grooms deserve. Mingle’s planning is included in our all-inclusive packages at Honeysuckle Hill or can be added to all of our basic venue packages...either way...we want to celebrate with you!

As the owners of Honeysuckle Hill, Chris and I are beyond blessed to continue our pursuit of delivering Mingle’s trademark southern hospitality and high-end design to this remarkable venue. We believe that whether we’re talking about historic estates or family heirlooms, everything is better with its own unique story. From chipped porcelain teacups to weather-beaten wood, we celebrate the beauty in our imperfections and have applied that same mentality to our preservation and restoration of this century-old family farm.
